The Shuford's Story

The Shuford's StoryOver 20 years ago, Jeff Davis took the reigns to the smokehouse. Already a fixture in the community, he would run the local favorite right up to the top of everyone's list of just plain ol' good places to eat. Shuford's unique sauce and the kind of service you can only get at a locally owned restaurant have stuffed bellies ever since. Located at the foot of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, Shuford's Smokehouse stays busy with walk-in traffic year round.

Stand inside for just a few minutes, and you quickly realize that this place is something special. There are no strangers that eat here. Seemingly every patron is a regular, and even newcomers are treated just that way. It's more than smoked meats in here, it's a bustling hub of friends and family. Shuford's Smokehouse takes the classic barbecue joint and mixes in a heaping helping of southern hospitality, and the food? The food's good, you can bet on that.
